General Guest Post Guidelines

  • Posts should be between 700 and 2000 words
  • Posts should target a specific long-tail keyword or search query
  • The post should be an original work
  • Your guest post should be broken up into small sections, with appropriate use of bullet points, headings, etc to make it visually interesting.
  • The post should be well organized with an intro, body, and conclusion.
  • Should be either a ghost post or a guest post, as explained in the next section.

I will provide the final images for every guest post.

You may suggest some, or provide ORIGINAL photos if your post is a how-to post.

Types of Guest Posts I accept

You may submit two kinds of guest posts:

1. REGULAR GUEST POST: where you will be listed as the author and may include an author bio and image if you wish. Regular guest posts may include TWO do-follow backlinks to your website.

The backlink may be a link to your homepage in the author bio, and a link to a relevant post on your blog, in the body of the post.

2. GHOST GUEST POST: where I will be listed as the author. Ghost guest posts get to include THREE do-follow backlinks to your website, and no author bio. These links must be relevant to the post.

Terms

By submitting a guest post you agree to the following terms, as well as everything else written on this page:

  • I reserve the right to edit, share, delete, or otherwise modify the blog post as I see fit. I may edit for grammar, style, add photos, add or change headers, etc. I do my best to make your post fit my blog and be very high quality, but remain true to your style and voice.
  • You may not add links to your email list or affiliate links, but I may insert my own affiliate links.
  • I reserve the right to choose if the links you have included are relevant & high quality or not. If I feel they are not, I will contact you to help choose a different back link.
  • Submitting a guest post does not guarantee I will publish it.
  • If accepted, I will publish the post per my posting schedule and notify you when it is live.
  • You may not post the article on any other website, past or future.
  • You should “Pin” the post to your Pinterest if you have one.
  • You should link to the post once it is published on my blog, from a relevant article on your blog. (This is an excellent way for you to “outbound” link to your OWN content!)
  • You may link to the post on your email list if you wish.
  • I do not accept guest posts from companies or agencies. Do not ask. I only publish posts from other bloggers.
